THE WORKER

The first chapter of the story of a thoughtful anthropomorphic 3D model seeking their own origin and history. The project researches on the use of augmented reality in the cinematic realm while exploring the character and role of “the worker”, through time and space.

The 3D models “Old coil” and “Old long distance cable” are 3D scans made by botspot AG (Berlin) of cables produced in KWO and AEG in Berlin Oberschöneweide. These items are preserved at Industriesalon Schöneweide, Berlin.

“The worker” has been supported by Neustart Kultur Modul D – Digitale Vermittlungsformate through Deutscher Künstlerbund.

“The worker” was presented for the first time in November 2022 at the exhibition Blind Vision at the Rathenau Hallen, Berlin.

A new chapter has been developed in the context of a PHxV2_ Digital Art Residency at V2_Lab for the Unstable Media in Rotterdam.
