XXX

XXX is a film shot in Athens in April 2017 within the project Pane per Poveri. The project and filming took place during the Documenta Athens opening at multiple locations in Athens. The footage collected in those days is interspersed with fragments of an interview made with Abd, a young Syrian refugee the artist met during the days of filming. This impressionistic view of an event contrasted with the point of view of a young man, wise beyond his years, touches on themes of existence and eternal dilemmas which artists face.
