LA MOSCAS Y LAS ABEJAS VOLABAN A NUESTRO ALREDEDOR

The installation is based on a performative production-process which is a 330 km walk made in 13 days from Guadalajara to the Pacific Ocean. The walk was an occasion for active observation and conversation between the walking companions and their surroundings. The video displays visions of nature interspersed with human activity and lays out through its collage-tempo the perceptual flow of exploration, while collected items and photographs visualize topics of conversation such nomadism versus stability, materialism, mimicry of nature, machines and habit.
